First day in Seoul and we already started to love this city. It is an amazing place and city centre is full of amazing modern and traditional Korean things, which make this city, must see destination.

Seoul is the largest city in South Korea as well as the political and economic capital. The city houses 11.8 million people, and the metropolitan area has 25.6 million, which is just over half of the population of South Korea.Β When including Incheon and the surrounding suburbs, Seoul is the second largest metropolitan area in the world (after Tokyo) with over 25 million people.

Being the epicentre of over 5,000 years of Korean history, you can still find remnants of ancient Korean civilization.

South Korea has been making headlines in recent years in the tech, automotive, and entertainment. Korean brands like Samsung and Hyundai are globally recognized brands. Myeongdong has become a hot spot for cosmetics and nearly everyone I know loves Korean food! Needless to say, South Korea is booming, and at the centre of all that excitement, is Seoul.
