Anglesea is a town southwest of Melbourne, Australia. Anglesea is 110 kilometres (68 mi) south-west of Melbourne on the iconic Great Ocean Road.
Anglesea is a celebration of life by the water. There are plenty of tall cliffs, beautiful beaches and abundant to native flora and fauna. This town can be absolutely play ground for the family outing to spend a day or weekend. There are plenty of activities for the kids from bike tracks, walkways to beach and canoeing.
If in to surfing there are plenty of locations that cater to both beginners and experienced surfers. Both the patrolled main beach and the sheltered beach at Point Roadknight provide a perfect surfing spot for beginners.
If visiting over the weekend, especially Sunday morning has Sunday Market where you can enjoy local produce to local delicacies.
