South Korea
Most people are likely to travel to Seoul as their priority destination. Japan will always be on our bucket list of places to visit in Asia because there are simply too many things to experience in the country. If you only have a few days to spare, we recommend that you travel to Tokyo as there is already so much to see and do within the capital city. It is home to the Imperial Palace, Nijubashi Bridge, Edo Castle, Sensō-ji Temple, the Meiji Shrine and Ginza, the definitive place for your Tokyo shopping trip. One of its newest additions, the Tokyo Skytree, which was opened in 2012, has quickly become popular among tourists. The country’s tallest structure offers a magnificent panoramic view from its observation deck.
Vietnam
For a start, you can travel to Hanoi to have a taste of Vietnam. This ancient city with its wealth of history has proudly preserved much of the Vietnamese culture. In Hanoi, well-known tourist destinations include the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Quan Thanh Temple (a Taoist temple dating from the Ly Dynasty), Tran Quoc Pagoda, Temple of Literature (Vietnam’s first university built more than 1,000 years ago), Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. Just outside the city, you can drive to Halong Bay, which is renowned for its stunning natural beauty and picturesque sceneries.
China
Our two recommended destinations in China is Harbin and Shanghai. You’ll want to travel to Harbin to experience a true winter wonderland. If you are a ski enthusiast, the Yabuli Skiing Center and Jihua Ski Resort are your playgrounds. To admire the stunning ice sculptures, be sure to visit the Ice and Snow World, Sun Island Scenic Spot and the annual Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival. Alternatively, you can travel to Shanghai for its glorious food and splendid shopping varieties.
